Cookie Policy

Last updated: 18 May 2026

This page explains what cookies and similar technologies this website uses. Right now, EnglishBridge sets no non-essential cookies and does not track visitors. If we ever add analytics, advertising, or social-media cookies, this page will be updated and a consent banner will appear before any tracking starts.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, or to make them work more efficiently, as well as to provide information to the site owners.

Similar technologies include local browser storage (localStorage and sessionStorage), which work like cookies but are stored only in your browser and are not sent back to the server.

2. Cookies set by this website

Currently: none, beyond strictly necessary technical cookies.

  • We do not set any analytics cookies (no Google Analytics, no Plausible, no Vercel Analytics).
  • We do not set any marketing or advertising cookies.
  • We do not set any social media tracking cookies (no Facebook pixel, no Twitter / X widgets, no LinkedIn Insight Tag).
  • Our hosting provider Vercel may set short-lived strictly-necessary cookies for security and DDoS protection — these are exempt from consent under ePrivacy law (S.I. 336/2011) because they are essential to deliver the service you requested.
  • When a future cookie consent banner is added, your choice will be recorded in your browser's localStorage. This is not a cookie and is not sent to our server — it stays on your device.

3. If we add cookies in the future

  • We will not enable any non-essential cookies (analytics, advertising, social media) without first showing a consent banner that asks for your permission.
  • The consent banner will give "Reject all" and "Accept all" buttons of equal prominence, with no pre-ticked boxes — as required by ePrivacy law and the 2024 DPC guidance.
  • You will be able to withdraw your consent at any time, and the choice will be remembered in your browser.
  • We will not use "cookie walls" — refusing cookies will not block you from reading the site.

4. How to manage cookies in your browser

Most modern browsers let you block or delete cookies directly in their settings. Instructions from the major browser vendors:

We will update this page whenever we add, change, or remove cookies. Material changes will be summarised at the top of this page with a new "Last updated" date.
